THIS LAND IS OUR LAND

There are many out there who speak of such things as "allegiance"
and "loyalty." Of "purity," "pride" and, even, "hatred." There are those
who point their chin toward the sky, knowing that they are superior
to the alien, minority and foreign, yet, who, perhaps, are unsure how to
engage in the struggle. They know that Eric Dixon was jailed for running
Mexicans out of a park. And that Jeremiah Munsen was charged for
hanging a noose to protest minorities. So, they wonder, how will we ever
take back this land of ours? We need to, but how? Tom Metzger claimed
that he had "freedom of speech," but when he published a flyer, depicting
a Negro with a bullet-hole through his head, he was sued and lost
everything he owned. Is that the only way?
In reality, there is a kind of haze before our eyes. We know that this land
is ours and that we must take it back, but we face severe criticism and,
even, risk going to jail, if we act on our impulses. Our first thoughts,
however, should be of our ancestors. They faced the same sort of
persecution and privation, but they would not let dark clouds blot out
their vision. If some of our methods have failed, in the past, just as
theirs did, we must keep our eyes fixed on the truth, but, perhaps, shift
some focus and mind some words. In other words, if a simple admonition
to an interloper that "you do not belong in this bar" will suffice, why not
leave it at that? Shaun Walker followed up his words with assault,
landing him in jail for seven years for "hate."
We boast that we are "better" than the rest and so we are. But, while
lashing out recklessly may, momentarily, win the "respect" of our close
comrades, it could bring unwanted repercussions down on us and,
even more important, rob us of the admiration and support we so sorely
need from the public. One should never waste time or energy going
down a dead-end street. How can we expect to be taken seriously, if
our honor fails to keep pace with our pride? There are enough criminals
and gang-members, already, among our foes. Can we afford to allow
them to manipulate us, so that we come across as no better than they
are? We provide the enemy with "ammo," by engaging in feckless
acts of violence and impulsive displays of rage.
Certainly, there are times to trumpet our beliefs and defend our skins,
but instead of directing our vehemence solely toward the outsiders,
let us concentrate on furthering our own organization, positively
influencing public-opinion and portraying ourselves as enlightened
and inspirational. Melvin Costa declared himself to be a "Nationalist,"
but he covered his face with hair, not unlike some Beatnik. Joe
Odegaard presented himself as a "Skinhead," but had illegitimate
offspring. How can our children be taught morals, purity and productivity,
when those responsible for teaching and raising our young show
weakness or blindsidedness? When this land, once again, belongs to
us, we must be able to say that we earned the right to take it back.
I do not always live up to my beliefs. I am far from perfect and am not
attempting to paint my picture rosier than it is or to sling mud at the
likeness of anyone else. But, we are in times of great hardship. We need
each other, as never before. We are only as strong as our weakest link.
The salvation of our nation starts with us, so we must redeem ourselves,
before we assert ourselves for all to see. We are the greatest people of
all. So, let us extend our hands to our comrades, to lift up those who
have fallen. May those who have slipped clasp that hand and stand tall,
without feeling put down. Gain perspective and help me to gain perspective,
as well. Once we treat each other as kinsmen, we make it possible for
our countrymen to treat each other as countrymen.
