GETTING PERSONAL AFTER JENA
Joseph Titus
The images, ever-vivid in our minds, are now part of history. Our flags,
our voices, our streets, our lawsuit, our defiance, our petitions, our
slogans, our faces and, above all, our victory at "Jena Justice Day".
So, now the nation knows the views of Nationalists and has witnessed
"all the right stuff." The American people have the answers that they
have been longing for and are pointed in the right direction. But,
reading our speeches is not enough. Simply agreeing with our goals
is not enough, either. The faces that have emerged must become so
familiar and so personal that there is no doubt who to look to as pilots
for the cause of our blood, our nation and our freedom.
Travis Golie is one of these fresh, young leaders. Overlooked by
the news-media, he is well-known among those of us who are
"true-believers." Travis is a remarkable, inspiring and up-and-coming
young man. He is a well-known writer, but, also, one who lends a personal
hand to help others out. We talk every, single day and, I must say, his
words have touched me deep down inside. I look up to Travis, not only
as a Skinhead, but as an authority. He has helped me to realize that our
fight is not just to think about the "good, old days" and bygone eras,
but to forge a new day, in which the old stereotypes are whisked away.
So, now, our task is to build up the ones who embody our ideology.
I have read articles by Travis and heard him speak, face-to-face. His
strongest-suite is that he expresses himself clearly and plainly. His
inspiration has driven me to be the same as he is and to do what he
has done. Travis has shown me that we can take down the oppression
around us and, even, take over the government, which is ours, anyhow.
I am happy for Travis and really excited for myself. So, when we say
to others, "Become one of us," we can point to the image of Travis and
say, "That is how you will be" and "That is what you will look like." We
are thorough, wise and well-organized. But, now, let's "get personal."
We are not just part of an organization, but part of each other.
