WALKING PROUD IN THE BROTHERHOOD

Tommy Haroldson

I had been reading in "All The Way" about Chad Huber and how
this young Skinhead had been gunned down on the streets by a Mexican,
who never should have been allowed to cross over the border, in the
first place. I did not know Chad, but I know that he died for what he
believed in and he deserves to be remembered as a hero. I regard Chad
as my brother. All brothers, who have taken their stand, deserve to be
called brothers. One to another, we have earned the right to call each
other "brother."

A brother cares so much more for his brother, than just for himself. He
would venture into danger, where he otherwise might not dare, for the
sake of his brother. If his brother would stumble or fall, he would be
right there to stand him back tall on his feet. There is no need to shower
his brother with titles, in order to deem him as great, because "brother" is
the greatest and noblest title of all. Being a brother fills up the empty
cup and overflows with fulfillment of the highest destiny.

For a brother, death is nothing to fear. A brother will avenge a brother,
because being a brother endures, all through life and, even, after death.
Being a brother means to be loyal and never lose faith. Being apart
never severs the bond, which ties heart-to-heart of brothers. So, a
brother am I and always shall I be, even though my life may be taken
from me. I'll lie down content, knowing that I stood, walking proud
in the brotherhood. May you, too, fight the good fight for brother
and blood.
