MAKING OF A REVOLUTIONARY
James Keen
After reading the March, 2008 issue of "All The Way," I am reminded
of an incident in my past which most-assuredly has been responsible for
turning me around and pointing me in the right direction. What happened
to me was not unlike what is happening to our country and could help to
understand what we are going through and where we are headed. I am
forty-five-years-old and, at the time of the earth-quaking "revolution" in my
life, I was in junior high-school. I found myself an unwilling participant in
the midst of the Supreme-Court-decision of Brown v. Board of Education,
which mandated that Americans be bussed across town, away from their
homes, neighborhoods and friends, to Negro-schools, as part of
forced-integration. It seemed to be the "end-of-the-world."
Being bussed to an all-Negro school was "revolutionary," in itself. It
meant that everything was turned upside down, in my world. Instead of
walking the halls quietly, doing my school-work and learning something,
I had to always be on guard, ready for fights, insults and just about any
kind of danger. One day, I got into an argument with a white kid, when
he called a beautiful, white, female student a "bitch." I felt obliged to
defend the girl's honor, so we decided to meet after school to settle the
score. As we fought, I heard footsteps behind me and, suddenly, I was
jumped by ten Negro-males. I found out later that this "white" kid lived in
the Negro housing-projects and was what was called a "wigger." All I
could do was to ball up and try to block the blows.
Suddenly, I noticed the Negro-assailants flying through the air, one by one.
They were being picked off of me and thrown aside. Soon, they all took
off running. Looking up through bruised eyes and bleeding lips, I saw a
large, white, adult male, who helped me up off the ground, dusted off my
shirt and led me to his yard, a few feet away, where a giant oak-tree stood.
Next to the tree was a three-foot stick of solid-oak. Handing me the stick,
the man said, "Next time you're going to fight a mongrel-crowd like that,
use an equalizer like this." Anyhow, I've never forgotten that moment. It
took a beating to open my eyes and an unexcepted comrade to set me
straight. Since then, I have come in contact with those called Nationalists,
who have been both inspirational and motivational.
Needless to say, today I am a staunch Nationalist and Skinhead. I would
never vote for any of the present-aspirants for the Oval Office. However,
I do believe that there is merit to the contention that having Barack Obama
"beat us up" and taking office might, indeed, spark the revolution which we
have been looking forward to. From that day, when I first was beaten up,
I have been under constant attack, because of my beliefs, but I have
continued to stand up for those beliefs. I guess I had felt that Negroes,
"wiggers" and Americans could all "co-exist" in school, before I was beaten
up, the same as some feel, today, about politics. But, just as I had my
own, personal "revolution," our country could, as a whole, undergo a
massive, national revolution, of the same order.
Someone, who didn't see the "big picture" and who, apparently, did not
know his own history, very well, upbraided me by claiming that I was
only concerned about "race." Yes, I have a "blood-based" view of history,
but when I picked up that three-foot oak-stick, so long ago, I was,
actually, becoming a fighter for my heritage, nationality, way-of-life and
people. So, I pledge my support for The Nationalist Movement, urging
my compatriots to join in the revolution and thanking my comrades for
sharing their courage and vision with me, making me proud of what our
generation is doing for our land, blood and future, as well as for change.
Being beaten to a pulp brought my blood to a boil, but, also, stood me on
my own, two feet. Our country is poised to do the same.
