THEY CAN TAKE MY FREEDOM, BUT NOT MY SPIRIT

Mike Renick

Let me start out by saying that it is a pleasure for me to have a chance
to be part of such an organization as The Nationalist Movement. I pay my
utmost respects. I am a Skinhead from Orange County, California and am
currently incarcerated in the Corcoran State Prison. My imprisonment came
as a result of my belief that I have a right to keep and bear arms. What has
happened to me could be in store for others, if the plight of patriots, such
as David Dupre and his son, who tried to bear arms at "Jena Justice Day"
but were halted by police, is not heeded.

I grew up in a predominately Mexican-area. There were gangs on every
other corner. Many of the white kids joined the Chicanos, to "go with the
flow." However, I felt a burning desire to stand against it all. I refused
to buy into the line that California was some "melting-pot," but, rather, I felt
that my Golden State was, or should be, part of America, not Mexico. I am
deeply saddened to say that those of us who go "against the flow" of Hispanics
flooding into our homeland and minorities taking over are set upon, not just
by the gangs, but by government-officials.

I love my country and have had to stand up against the gangsters and
invaders, almost entirely by myself. I am not thinking just of myself, but
of my family and my countrymen, all across our land, experiencing the
same occupation, treachery and destruction. We have come upon sad times,
when criminals are coddled and citizens are persecuted. It is more than
protecting just one house, block or neighborhood. It is defending our
country against tyranny, whether imposed by aliens, beyond our borders,
or corrupt politicians, right here among us.

So, I carried a gun. I didn't have a "license" or a "permit." Just the Second
Amendment and the right to keep-and-bear-arms, because I am a citizen
and each citizen is a citizen-soldier, who is the last-resort to defend freedom,
when the powers-that-be either cannot or will not do so. I love our movement
and am proud to be a Skinhead. But, I am frustrated. Why? Because the
Constitution, which was framed to give us freedom, has become just
yellowed parchment, in some display-case, and the slaves have become
the masters. It just isn't OK to be American, anymore.

As a result, Americans are no longer in the majority in California, but
have become the minority, and those who assert their rights, under the
American-way-of-life, are slandered or "put away." It was not enough to
lock me up for having a gun, but I am placed in solitary-confinement, because
I continue to speak out for the rights of the American people. For exercising
my First-Amendment rights, I am placed in the "SHU-program" and declared
a "security-risk." We all thought "what a crime" and "how inhuman" when
this went on in the USSR, but what about here?

Every six months, I am "reviewed" to determine if I have "changed my
thinking" and "renounced my beliefs." I am supposed to pledge that I
accept "diversity" and "integration" and "admit" that I was "wrong" to carry
a gun. But, you know what? I refuse to let them beat me. So, I sit in
this cage within a cage and tell them that, when I get out, I will go right
back to keeping and bearing arms and fighting against the takeover and
humiliation of my country. They can take my freedom, but they will never
take my spirit. Walk with strength and pride.

Bollocks. They just thought that you were a lame, boring,
untrustworthy person and told you to fuck off and stop following them
around trying to look cool. They were straight too.

Right to 'keep and bear arms'? That's a zboyz euphemism for 'give
handjobs for cash', right?
