NO VIOLENCE FOR THE SAKE OF VIOLENCE
William Minton
I am honored to have been named "Skinhead of the Year" for
2008. I will be sure to conduct myself according to the highest
standards required by such an honorable title. I have had a number
of temporary setbacks in being a Skinhead, along the way, but I have
always overcome all of them. Now that we are seen as modern-day
Minutemen, we have the responsibility to set the right example.
I wish to lead by example. This means that I will continue our fight
in a positive, professional and legal manner. It is amazing how we
are the lawful ones and the very law-enforcers, so many times, are the
law-breakers. Mayor Murphy McMillin of Jena tried to ban us, but
we conducted ourselves according to the Constitution, so we won.
The Mayor is now barred from interfering, as we march and rally.
I would like to start out, under my new title, by reminding my brothers
that, although temporarily satisfying, physical-violence should only
be resorted to in defense of one's self and others. The Mayor tried
to say that his "firearms-prohibition" was only a "policy," which had
no "enforcement" behind it. But we made him withdraw it, in court.
Re-affirming our right-to-keep-and-bear-arms re-affirms our freedom.
Bear in mind, however, that violence, for the sake of violence, has no
lasting or positive results and, often, can wind up with catastrophic
consequences. Nonetheless, the Second Amendment is not just for
deer-hunters or home-defenders, but, should it become necessary, for
patriots to overthrow our own government, should it become tyrannical.
So, march proudly, act responsibly and triumph mightily.
