RISING SOUTH ECLIPSES ORGERON

The South keeps rising again. Ed Orgeron, who had been expected
to de-integrate the football-team at the historically-white University of
Mississippi, but who wound up installing Negroes, has been ousted.
The carefully-orchestrated campaign to dump Orgeron had been led by
Edward "Red" Graham, a Mississippi State Alumnus, who had organized
the drive to oust Sylvester Croom, the first Negro football-coach at his
alma mater. Graham was, also, a litigant against efforts by the Berkowitz
law-firm to "exonerate" Negro chicken-feed-thief Clyde Kennard.

Edwards had called upon Orgeron to de-integrate the team, as soon as
"Coach O" was selected in 2004, to repair the damage caused by Billy
Brewer, Steve Sloan, Tommy Tuberville and David Cutcliffe. The last four
coaches had taken a hike, under pressure, after siding with the Black
Caucus, trashing the Colonel-Reb mascot and lobbying against the
Confederate Flag. Ole-Miss fans and Alumni opted to give Orgeron a
chance not because of what he said, but what he didn't say. He had not
opposed the school's heritage, but neither had he openly affirmed it.

Graham, who refused to attend any integrated sporting-events, had stated
that "if Orgeron betrays the state and recruits Negroes at Ole Miss, every
white boy should boycott the team, fans should stay home and the scouting
committee find another replacement." The hammer fell after the foul-mouthed
Orgeron elevated Negro Brent Schaeffer to the legendary quarterback
position, then removed him, over public-outcry, replacing him with another
Negro, Michael Spurlock, then ditching him, again over public-outcry, and,
finally, losing to a predominately Negro-team.

Students had been exerting yeoman efforts to overcome the 1962
invasion of the school by President John F. Kennedy, forcing in Negro
James Meredith, and to re-segregate the institution, but had been continually
insulted and oppressed by "black-and-tan" administrators and coaches.
Lebanese-Chancellor Robert Khayat, first, removed the Rebel-flag as
the official school-symbol and, then, tried to ban fans from waving flags
in the football-stands. Voters retaliated by installing the Confederate-Flag
as the official state-flag with 488,000 votes, a two-to-one margin.

Khayat had, also, tried to remove the venerable slavemaster-mascot, but
was stymied by a ninety-three percent pro-Colonel vote of students and
an on-campus rally addressed by Richard Barrett. Khayat, also, bowed
to a threat of legal-action from Al Roland and opened secret-files to
reveal that Khayat had rigged an "election" for a "race-neutral" replacement.
Skinheads had, even, gotten into the act, when one of Khayat's "replacements"
was a dark-skinned Negro "Skinhead." Skinheads said that Negroes could
not be Skinheads and joined in the oust-Orgeron campaign.

When Khayat tried to engineer a "celebration" of the 1962 invasion,
Nationalists, led by Terry Nelson, staged an on-campus protest. According
to Graham, the next coach should be required to state that he supports the
heritage of Ole Miss and will not bow to the Black Caucus. Logan Austin
urged prospects to "put more effort into letting people, in reality, know your
thoughts and beliefs." Graham said that he is sending one of his assistants
to Nationalist-headquarters to work on lining up a suitable replacement.
"We have a lot of work to do," he declared, "and we are going to do it."

According to James Bell, who had once served as lawyer for the late
William L. Pierce, the school had been stuck in a "hole." Despite being
fired, Orgeron will, still, be paid seventy-five percent of his $900,000.00
annual salary, for the next two years. One staunch-segregationist, who
asked to remain anonymous, said that "Khayat and Pete Boone are the
ones who should be fired. That's where the buck stops." Boone, the
athletic-director and former-segregationist, had attempted to oust the
Colonel-Reb mascot and had vouched for the integrity of Orgeron.
